Still buzzing after another brilliant week volunteering at Carnoustie for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Hard to believe this was my 4th year being part of the team. It’s always such a privilege to walk those iconic fairways at a place that means so much to me. The weather definitely threw in some challenges this year (again!), with the event reduced to 54 holes, but that’s all part of the magic of links golf. The inside-the-ropes access is something special and the people you meet along the way are even better.

It’s not every day you get to bump into the legend that is Bill Murray, Ryder Cup winner Tyrrell Hatton and The Chipping Forecast’s own Eddie Pepperell plus so many incredible people from business, politics, sport, and entertainment.

Getting to see how the pros operate up close is always inspiring. Already counting down to next year. Huge congratulations to Oban’s own Bob MacIntyre on a well-deserved win to round off an incredible season after his Ryder Cup heroics.
